Compostable Garment Poly Bags
These are our Aussie certified Home-Compostable INNERHERO garment/clothing bags. Instead of sending your clothes and accessories in a traditional plastic (ew!) poly bag, send them in our INNERHERO compostable bags.
The following sizes are on pre-order and will be dispatched from the warehouse late June/Early July.
Medium (26.5cmx38cm)
Don't be fooled, these look like plastic, but they are far from it. These garment bags are made from PBAT and PLA (just like our HEROPACKs) and break down in a home compost bin within 3 months.
They are used to place your clothing and apparel (t-shirts, dresses, jumpers etc) and accessories (scarves, scrunchies etc) before placing into a HEROPACK, for extra protection when shipping!

INNERHERO garment bags are translucent and are designed to go inside outer packaging to keep the clothing items separate.
Sizing
- SMALL Garment Bags (190x260mm): Best for swimwear, kids clothes, hair accessories, socks, and small products
- MEDIUM Garment Bags (265x380): Best for t-shirts, shorts, summer dresses, baby blankets
- LARGE Garment Bags (360x480): Best for sweaters, hoodies, evening dresses, medium cushions
They are 30um-40um in thickness, so not suitable as shipping mailers. But they're super strong for keeping your products away from dust, water and dirt. They come in packs of 100 or 1000.
Of course, they are Australian certified home-compostable and industrially compostable.
Important: Shelf life is 9-12 months. We recommend you buying for a maximum 9-12 month usage period.

Product shelf life: as our compostable products are made using renewable ingredients, they have a shelf life of approximately 9-12 months when kept in cool and dry conditions, out of direct sunlight. This should be considered when ordering in bulk. We recommend ordering for a 9-12 month period.

What are INNERHERO bags used for?
INNERHERO bags replace plastic poly bags inside your outer packaging. Use them to keep clothing, apparel and accessories (t-shirts, dresses, scarves, scrunchies) separate and protected from dust, water and dirt before they go into a mailer or box.
What are they made from?
PBAT and PLA (from cornstarch) — the same compostable materials as our HEROPACK mailers.
Are they certified compostable?
Yes. They are certified Home Compostable (AS 5810) and Commercially Compostable (AS 4736) in Australia, and meet EN 13432 internationally. They break down in a home compost bin within about 3 months.
Can I use them as shipping mailers?
No. At 30–40 microns thick they’re strong for inner packaging, but not designed to be posted on their own. Pair them with a HEROPACK or box.

What do they look like?
A premium matte, off-white, translucent finish with high transparency, so they look different from glossy plastic. They’re blank (no logo) and have a re-sealable adhesive strip so customers can reuse them.
Do they have a shelf life?
Yes, about 9–12 months when stored cool and dry, out of direct sunlight. Order a quantity you’ll use within that time.
How do my customers compost them?
Cut the bag into pieces and add it to a home compost bin, or to a council green organics bin where accepted.
Shipping and returns
In-stock orders placed before 12pm AEST/AEDT on a business day ship the same day. Unused bags can be returned for store credit within 14 days of purchase (fees apply). See our Shipping & Returns page.

General Shipping Information
Same-day dispatch for orders placed before 12pm AEST/AEDT on business days. All other orders ship the next business day. Holiday trading hours may differ — check our website for the latest.
Australia Post is currently delivering as normal. Choose Express Post at checkout if you need products quickly. Sydney customers also have same-day delivery options at checkout.
Some delivery delays may apply. Please allow extra time and check your tracking link before contacting us. Keep buffer stock on hand to avoid running out.
In-Stock (Ready to Ship) Orders
Orders placed before 12pm AEDT on a business day are dispatched same day. You'll receive a shipping confirmation with tracking details as soon as your order leaves our warehouse.
Our order system is highly automated — we cannot amend or change orders once placed under any circumstances. If you need to return mailers, please see our returns information below.
Unforeseen events such as natural disasters may impact dispatch times. Check our website for the most up-to-date information.
Custom Printed Orders
All custom orders begin with a PDF proof — allow 2–3 business days. Printing only starts after you approve the proof. All timings below are from proof approval.

Australian Orders
Allow 2–8 business days after your order has been dispatched.
Allow 1–3 business days after dispatch. Select at checkout.

International Orders
Allow 5–20 days depending on your country. Estimated times display in checkout once your address is entered.
Allow 3–7 days to New Zealand, Canada, USA, UK, and other supported countries.
Orders shipped outside Australia are classified as imports in the destination country. You are responsible for paying any applicable import duties and taxes to clear customs.
The shipping carrier will contact you using your order details. If duties are not paid, the shipment will be diverted to commercial composting and cannot be returned. No refunds apply in these cases.
Returns Information
If you've purchased the wrong size or no longer need your mailers, you may be able to return them for store credit within 14 days of purchase. No change-of-mind returns are accepted after this period due to the shelf life of our mailers.

Sometimes things don't go to plan — and we'll always make it right. Resolutions can include product replacements, store credits, or refunds.
If you have a product issue, please contact us for instructions. We'll generally ask for photos or a short video of the issue to provide the fastest possible resolution.
Pre-Order Information
When a product is out of stock it may move to a pre-order listing. This will be clearly noted on the product page and in your order confirmation.
If you order a pre-order item alongside in-stock items, your entire order is held until pre-order stock is available. We cannot partially ship orders.
Tip: Place pre-order and in-stock items in separate orders to avoid delays.
