How is the courier satchel different from a HEROPACK?

The courier satchel is thicker than our black HEROPACK and built for the rigours of 3PL warehouses, large fulfilment centres and international shipping. It is barcoded so it can be scanned in 3PL warehouses, and it’s commercially (not home) compostable.

What is it made from?

It’s made predominantly from cornstarch-based, commercially compostable materials rather than virgin plastic.

Is it certified compostable?

Yes, it carries industrial/commercial compostability certification marks: TÜV AUSTRIA OK compost INDUSTRIAL and BPI. It breaks down in a commercial composting facility, not a home compost bin.

How should it be disposed of?

Remove any shipping labels and adhesive, then send it to a commercial composting facility. Check your local council’s commercial organics options.

What sizes and quantities are available?

Sold in packs of 100, 500 and 1,000.

What finish and closure does it have?

A matte black finish with a single-seal adhesive strip.

Does it have a shelf life?

Yes. Store it cool and dry, out of direct sunlight, and order enough for 3–6 months of shipping so your stock stays fresh.

Shipping and returns

In-stock orders placed before 12pm AEST/AEDT on a business day ship the same day. Unused satchels can be returned for store credit within 14 days of purchase (fees apply). See our Shipping & Returns page.
